Welcome to my travel section!

I love to travel and have enjoyed spending time with many cultures around the world. As an Anthropologist, I have an interest in ancient temples and the belief systems that the people held. There is no other feeling like sitting atop an ancient temple gazing over the landscape and thinking of the people that lived here so long ago.

Some of my favourite temples and ancient structures are; Angkor Wat and Bayon in Cambodia, Bagan in Burma, Abu Simbel in Egypt and of course the Great Wall of China and the Pyramids at Giza.

My travels have brought me to China, Cambodia, South Korea, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, Kenya, Tanzania, Holland, France, Italy, Portugal, England, Germany, Norway, Sweden, Russia, Estonia, United States as well as Thailand, Egypt and Japan twice.

I have also enjoyed traveling through my own great country, Canada ! Some of my fondest memories in Canada have been walking with a Tsimshian Elder on sacred grounds in Prince Rupert, Eating raw caribou meat in Rankin Inlet, Sitting on the rocks of Peggy's Cove, Riding the Royal Canadian Pacific railroad across the Rockies, Canoeing in Algonquin park, Seeing the UFO landing site in Alberta, Kayaking in Georgian bay and many more.
